an unexpected obstacle

One day Quintin was driving with his two friends to Dave and Busters in Canada but they encountered one major problem... They realized they did not have a car. They were all shocked when driving in the middle of the highway already halfway to Canada that they mysteriously did not have their car. So they pulled over and called a tow truck to take them to the Dave and Busters. Once the tow truck arrived the three friends were all relived and explained their situation to the driver of the truck. After hearing the friends situation the driver said " ok " and then drove away. Therefore stranding the three friends on the highway. So they walked. They walked many many miles before reaching a gas station. They tried to explain their situation to the people there but nobody would listen. The three friends were exhausted and desperate they had to figure out a way to get to Dave and Busters. They seen their oppertunity when someone left their car to go in to the gas station. They all sprinted to the car got in and drove off. The three friends were all so excited that they could finally make it to Dave and Busters but then the unspeakable happened. The car ran out of gas. It seemed that they would never make it to Dave and Busters but then they seen it...

thanksgiving

If I were to plan and make thanksgiving dinner. I would make foods that are common thanksgiving foods and some that are not. Somethings that I would make that are not common thanksgiving foods are cheese burgers with fries and pizza. Then some things that I would make that are traditional thanksgiving foods are mashed potatoes, corn, and biscuts. This list of food was carefully composed of food that sound good right now. The people I would invite to this thanksgiving feast would be my whole family. I would invite my whole family because I will usually go to about three dinners around thanksgiving. So with this dinner I would only have to go to one but to make it last we would have dinner together for three days.

pirate

If I could be either a pirate or a ninja for a day I would pick a pirate. There are a few reasons I would rather be a pirate. First because pirates do what they want when they want which is true freedom. Imagine being able to do literally anything. Next aboard pirate ships everyone knows everyone it is a second family. The actual ship itself is like a country because of the different levels of authority or power. The last reason is because of how long I could be remembered. Many infamous pirates such as Edward Thach (I think that is how his last name is spelled) AKA Blackbeard is still known today and he has been dead for hundreds of years.

invention

If I could invent something it would be a building that is larger than some states. It would be used as a home for many different plant and animal species. The plants and animals that would be in this building would be common ones. The plants and animals would be common because we are destroying them and their homes every day. When we destroy their homes and people see them in the street people say that they are overpopulated and kill them. The building would be a safe haven that would enable the plants and animals to grow quickly and steadily uninterupted so they could prosper. Then after the first building becomes successful there would be more built all around the world so that plants and animals would be able to thrive all over the globe.

money

If money were no object then I would want to be a philosipher. I would turn my thoughts and opinions about all the different things in life into a book. I would then publish the book so everyone could learn from it. I would make so much money from my book that I would then use to construct an enlightenment institute, not a school, where people can come to for free, although we will accept donatios. It will be different from a school because there will not be any grades or manditory days that people would have to come. People would just come whenever to gain a new perspective on the world. My institute will be open to all ages and all types of people. My institue will impact society because there will be voulunteers that will travel tohelp people with anything like building different facilities such as schools and hospitals, donate money, donate food, clothes, and water, and finaly tell other people about the institute. So eventually I will have billions of people who attend the institute but not all at once it is not big enough odviously.By achiveing all of these thigs I will become a name know to literaly everyone.

hobby

One of my favorite hobbies is playing video games. I have a xbox 360 and a wii both of which I play but I play my xbox more. When I play video games I usually play by myself but sometimes I like to play with my brother or sister. The games I play vary from Grand theft auto 5 to Mario kart. I like to play video games on my free time because nit is very relaxing for me. I also like to think that  it relieves stress. Like when I have a test or quiz coming up that I a not sure about or stressed about before I study or anything I play xbox so I do not feel tressed out. I also play video games just for fun. When I am playing just for fun I like to play with my sister. It is so much fun watching her try to drive a car, fly a plane, or race other people in video games. I think that I like video games so much because it gives me the oppertunity to become someone else. I do not have to be quintin from lorain.

change

One thing that has happened previously in my life that I would like to change is my dad getting kicked out of the house. My mom made him leave because he did not get a job among other things. When he left I was around seven or something close to that. When he told me that he was leaving I did not belive him but when he did leave I knew he was serious. When he left I did not cry or anything it was just like a normal day thogh I still wanted him to stay. I still went to see him at his house and stay the night. Recently I have not seen him or talked to him mainly because I do not want to but unfotunetly yesterday he called to let me know that he was going to jail again. He wanted me and my brother to go to dinner with him and his dad our grandfather before he left. I did not want to go but I did anyways it was unenjoyable so I was glad when we got back home. Now that I think about it I do not want to change the fact that he left. I just want to know what it would have been like if he did not. I do not know. Maybe it was for the better that he left.

value

One thing that I value the most is my family. I value my family the most for many reasons. A lot of people take their families for granted or do not think much of them which is not good. I think that if I could only have one thing in life it would be a family. They take care of you when your sick, help you with things like school, support you when you need it, and many other things. I have a decent size family most of which I see at pretty often since we are close. Although I argue with my family often I still love them and they still love me. I know that some people do not have good relationships with certain members of their familes but I think it is always worth it to try to fix things with them because if problems are not fixed then you might regret not fixing them in the future.

Summer

This summer the Cleveland clinic had a picnic for employees in Avon Lake. I did not want to go though my mom wanted me to so I went along with me went my sister and brother. There were things there to do and things to eat. One of the things there to do was watch a guy named jungle terry. He showed various types of animals like snakes, lizards, turtles, and a skunk. My sister wanted to watch so we decided to watch him for a little bit. When jungle terry was showing a turtle to the crowd of people the turtle decided to pee on one of the kids head. My mom and I were laughing when it happened dut jungle terry said "Its just water". After that we went and got in line for hay rides they had that were pulled by horses. Once it was our turn we got in and they closed the gate on the back of the wagon. Just as we the wagon was about to go two old ladies waked past everyone in line and asked if there was room for two more. Without waiting for a response they got in. No one said anything to them and the wagon started moving. I do not know why but for about the whole ride one of the old ladies kept staring at me. When the ride was over one old lady said to the other not to make eye contact with the people in line. A little while after that we went home since there was nothing else to do and we had been there for hours.

Quintin

My name in my opinion is unique. Not necessarily by how it is pronounced but by how it is spelled. It is usually spelled with an e but I spell it with an i. I have met/heard of a ton of people who have the same name but none of them had the same spelling. I like that because that is what makes my name different. I asked my mom why she named me Quintin. She said that she named me after the actor/director Quentin Tarantino. She said around the time I was born he was getting big and she said she just liked the name.

number one rule

I think that the number one rule in life is to listen to other people when they are tallking. I think this for a few different reasons. The first reason is that if people do not listen to each other problems would never get solved successfully. My second reason is when I am talking to someone and they appear to not be listening I think they do not care about what I have to say and it is not a good feeling to think someone does not care what you have to say. My third and final reason is if no one ever listened to each other how would we learn. People in schools would not be able to learn because the students would not listen to the teacher and the teacher would not listen to the students. That is why I think listening to each other is the most important rule.
